The world around us is changing rapidly. We’re making our own changes in response.
The current Coronavirus pandemic is affecting every one of us. Across the globe, the threat of COVID-19 is changing the way that societies act, as we try to stop the spread of this dangerous and highly-infectious virus. We’ve always been advocates of working from home, however the UK Government restrictions which call for only essential travel and interaction mean that we’re making further changes to our business to help reduce the spread of COVID-19 and keep our clients, our families and our community safe.
If your sale has been agreed:
We’ll continue to support you through your property transaction – delivering exceptional customer service as normal and liaising with other agents, conveyancers, mortgage advisors and other supporting businesses to progress these transactions as far as possible whilst complying with UK Government and industry guidance. The landscape is changing on a daily basis, and so we’ll be keeping all parties updated and providing advice and support where required.
If your home is on the market:
We will continue to market the small number of individual properties that we represent, using our website, social media, web portals and other means available to us. To help keep everybody safe, we won’t be offering viewings in person at this time, although we’re happy to take advance bookings to view once movement restrictions are lifted. We are able to conduct video viewings by appointment on certain properties. We’re grateful that all our clients share our view that non-essential contact should be avoided in these challenging times.
If you're thinking of moving:
We’d love to help you sell your home when the situation returns to normal. If you’re thinking of using your time at home to declutter, decorate or otherwise improve your home, we’re happy to offer advice and guidance, and can schedule a video call to discuss this with you. We can also make advance bookings to set a date to visit your home and professionally photograph it, a process which typically takes 3-4 hours for each property we sell. Once restrictions are lifted, we can help you sell your property, and find your next home.
These are uncertain times for all of us, and the situation changes on a daily basis. We will continue to play our part in supporting our local community to protect vulnerable members, to reduce the risk of infection, and to maintain a positive outlook. We will provide regular updates on our website and on our social media channels, and we’ll keep in regular contact with all our clients. As a responsible business, our priority is keeping people safe and healthy, and these changes to the way we work will help us to achieve that.
